I just got an xbox 360, so i dont have too much money now, but i want a lot of games so i wanna know how to download games of torrents, now i do not want to go on xbox live with them so that i do not get banned and i do not want to pay money. A. you need to get your xbox modded for this to work, and it will completely void your warranty. I wouldn't bother. There are tons of used 360 games out there for reasonable prices. GTA IV is wicked, Halo is supposed to be good if you like shooters. burnout paradise is the best burnout game and you can get that for like $20 brand new, less used. If you want sports games, get ones that are from last year. They are always way way cheaper, like $10 used.

A. First, you have to have a flashed Xbox 360. If you 360 isn't flashed, I'd suggest either ordering one (I sell them - e2thejdot@yahoo.com) or going to 360mods.net (link under source) and figuring out how to do it yourself. You're gonna spend roughly the same amount if you don't have all the parts though.
Also, I'd suggest from experience that you watch where your download your games. itchycats.com is a safe site. If the game doesn't have the right stealth packs on it, Microsoft will be able to track it and you'll be banned from Live.

How do you download xbox 360 games online and burn them to a disk and play them?
Q. I have recently been introduced to the torrent world. While looking around i saw that you can download Xbox 360 games. I have a Xbox 360 and i was wondering how you were to download a game and burn it to a disk and play it?
A. You have to have your system modified. Basically, someone reflashes the firmware on the 360's DVD drive so that it gets rid of the protection that normally does not allow the system to boot backup copies of games. You can probably find someone in your area on Craigslist.com to do it for you, I paid about $40 to get it done to mine.
Afterwards, you just download the game's ISO file, burn it to a DVD+R DL disc, and it works just like the original disc :)
Also, by far the easiest and fastest way to download games is to get a $10/mo Megashares account and download the games from forum links. The games are all around 7gb each, so torrents can be a pain, especially if its an older game with few seeders on it.
-Just a note: to the guy that said you can play them off of the hard drive, you can only do that with the original Xbox, not the 360.
