Is there a way I can download free xbox 360 games onto my hard drive, so I can play them ?
Q. I am trying to download Xbox 360 games on my hard drive, but I do NOT want to pay for them. If there is a way I can do this please help ! Or is there a way where I can get more Microsoft points for FREE ? I need everything to be free with no surveys or anything like that. Please and thank you.
A. Nothing in life is free. The people and companies that make these games work hard, the least you could do is support them when you buy their product. You're talking about PIRATING video games. That's the easiest way to get 1-up'd by Microsoft and get your xbox account AND console permanently banned. What's worse? Paying 300$ for a new system because your old one was banned, or paying 60$ for a game/batch of MS points you wanted fast and free? However, you may find better DEALS on games and MS point cards shopping online (like Ebay and Amazon), but you're never going to find them for free.
P.S. Don't believe the MS Point generators online.... they're all just spam and don't actually get you points. If they did, Microsoft would have already shut them down.

What is the point of earning "achievements" on Xbox 360 games?
Q. Apparently, if you get "achievements" on Xbox 360 games you get something called "platinum" points; I've heard many people call these "plats". Everyone acts like these are a big deal, but I've always assumed that they're for showing off to friends, nothing more. Am I wrong? Are they actually worth something? Can I buy arcade games with them or something?
A. I've never heard of them called "plats" -- on the PS3 side, you earn trophies and you get a Platinum trophy for getting all the other trophies in a game, so getting a "plat" means you've 100%ed a game.
But really, gamerscore means nothing. The only exception is if you're in Xbox Live Rewards, and then you can get a rebate back on what you spend on the Marketplace. You get 1% back if your gamerscore is between 10,000 and 25,000, and 2% if your gamerscore is over 25,000.
